Mexico vs South Africa Result - World Cup 2010

South Africa, host of this year’s FIFA World Cup, couldn’t open the tournament with a victory.  The Mexico vs South Africa result was 1-1.

Siphiwe Tshabalala made the stadium vibrate with the first goal of the tournament. However one goal wasn’t enough as in minute 79, Mexico’s striker Rafael Marquez scored the goal that would reflect the final result of the match.

It was a pretty even game with Mexico dominating the first half, and South Africa the second. At least none of them lost which still gives them high chances of passing to the next round in the tournament.
